…, laissant le psychodrame très vivant!
C’est avec tristesse que nous avons récemment appris le décès aux Etats-Unis de Zerka Toeman Moreno (1917-2016), la grande Dame du Psychodrame. Son humanité, sa sensibilité ainsi que, parmi tant d’autres choses, l’intelligence et la finesse de ses contributions vont nous manquer.
« Moreno a longtemps désiré que son œuvre soit identifiée comme une manière de vivre, plutôt que de simplement la ranger dans la catégorie de procédure thérapeutique. Plus encore, il déclarait que, plutôt que de regarder l’humanité comme un être déchu, chacun est un génie potentiel… » (1)
Elle avait repris le travail de son mari, Jacob Levy Moreno, qui avait fondé l’International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (IAGP). Il avait avant tout développé une méthode, et son œuvre a été le point de départ d’innombrables recherches, projets, idées et concepts.
Zerka a poursuivi ce chemin. De par ses innombrables contributions, elle aussi, comme J. L. Moreno, ne visait « rien de moins que la paix dans le monde ».
Et son rayonnement fut grand.
Et avec elle, le psychodrame.
